Your study data

Your tasks, courses, calendars, focus sessions and habits stay on your Mac. We can't see them.

When you sign up for the beta

We keep your email address and the time you signed up, so we can hold your place and your free-for-life licence and send you StudyNest news. A cookie on this site lets your browser download the beta. It lasts a year.

Signing up also sends us an email through our email service, Web3Forms, so we can see who is testing. It contains:

• your email address and the time
• whether you're on a Mac
• your browser details
• your language and country
• the page you came from

When you visit the website

The site runs on Cloudflare, which also stores the sign-up list. It counts visits with Web Analytics, which uses no cookies. Your light or dark choice is saved only in your browser.

When you use the app

The app checks studynest.app for updates. If you send feedback, your message goes to us through Web3Forms, with your email and diagnostics only if you add them. Diagnostics never include your titles, names or notes.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
